Texas weather is notorious for changing rapidly and going to extremes. What's your best bet for a home landscape that can withstand climate swings from scorching to soaking? Resilient native plants that are already adapted to Texas. This program recommends native plants that thrive and help keep your yard looking great --whatever the forecast says.This is a free virtual event open to the public. Registration is required.
About the Speaker: Carol Clark is an amateur botany enthusiast, a Texas Master Naturalist, a longtime member of the Native Plant Society of Texas, chair of the Bring Back the Monarchs to Texas committee and a Monarch Watch Conservation Specialist. She also co-administrates the Texas Native Bee Co-op Facebook page. Carol and her husband own and operate Clark Haven Farm; a wildlife preserve and custom wildflower seed business in Cooke County.
