Description
This grass is a short tuft grass that can form a loose turf. Its interesting spikelets make this a nice accent grass for small areas. Group with other short, drought-tolerant natives on very dry locations in full sun. Mix with buffalograss for a very low-water-use naturalistic turf. Can persist on as little as 7 inches of water per year. Seed heads look like human eyebrows.
