Description
Spikes of flowers held above dark green leaves. Many selections are available, including 'May Night' (purple), 'Rose Queen' (pink), 'Snow Hill' [white), 'Blue Queen' (blue), and 'Cardonna' (dwarf purple). Shear hard to encourage repeat flowering. For planting seedlings or established plants, it is not necessary to till the soil. Use a 2" course mulch to cover the plant beds.
